For the first time since its inception Google Analytics will run in real time. According to a post on Thursday from Mashable, Real-Time reports will be available in a new version of Google Analtyics.
Well for some of you who are reading this are probably wondering, what is Google Analtyics? Since November 2005 Google has offered this free service that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website. GA can track visitors from all referrers.
This widely used tracking tool for website will be a phenomenal upgrade for the millions of website operators and users that already currently use this. As a company that uses Google Analytics, I feel this is a pretty sweet thing considering unlike companies like Woopra and Chartbeat, it is free.
Google will also offer Google Analytics Premium, which is generally a new option built for their largest customers.
